Arthur Joe Duncan

Born in San Angelo, Texas to Maria Dolores Martinez Duncan and Robert Leo Duncan.

Arthur was always known as the animal whisperer, he would not make people happy if he would fish with them, because he caught all the fish. He was really good with dogs and trained them well. He just was an overall nature guy who used to love to trap and fish.

Arthur was the one that everybody loved, all the kids loved him as he was always playful. He worked hard as a roofer all his life. Arthur did not marry and had no children, even though he had all the women looking at him back in the day.

Arthur was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Leo Duncan, his 2 brothers, Robert and Jude Duncan, and his nephews, Alex Sturdivant and Ace Jameson Leon.

Arthur leaves behind His mother, Maria Duncan and 5 siblings, Georgina (Keith) Jordan, Gloria

(David) Williams, and Charles, Indiana and Brian Duncan.

A visitation for Arthur will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rescue Mission, specifically to the Charis House for Women and Children.
