BARBARA HELEN CROFT-WINCHESTER, 81, of Angola, died on Monday, April 30, 2012. Born Aug. 28, 1930, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Peter Croft and Bertha (Swihart). She was a homemaker and a member of Angola Hillcrest Baptist Church, Roving Red Hat Group and Crimson Classics Red Hat Group. Surviving are her daughter, Diana Winchester; son, Steven Winchester; daughters, Beth Cartwright, Gale McMillien and Sue Ellen Hephner; sister, Bertha Carroll; 24 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Winchester. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior. Pastor Terry Sturges officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Preferred memorials to American Cancer Society .
