BETTY C. CUMMINS, 79, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010. Born April 22, 1931, in Marion, Ind., she was the daughter of the late William Manford and Leona (Houston) Hickman. She was a wonderful person with a big heart and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by daughters, Kathy Faulkner and Grace Alshemmari; son, Bill (Judy) Hollowell; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Lockett and Carol Roberts; and special friends, Linda Main and Joseph Barva. She was preceded in death by sons, Dennis and John Leland Hollowell; brothers, Neil, Ore and Milfred Hickman; and sisters, Kathryn Hickman, Jane Furnish, Mary Tarlton, and Patricia Davis. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with visitation from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. James Hair officiating.
