

Betty Mae Heinrich, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. She was born September 23, 1928 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, the daughter of the late William Yent and Lucella (Crim) Baginski. Betty was married to her late husband, Eugen Heinrich on June 1, 1950 and they spent 48 wonderful years together. They lived in Sandusky, Ohio prior to relocating to Fort Wayne in 1963 where she was the Co-Owner of Kraft & Heinrich Tux Shop & Custom Tailor. Betty sang in the philharmonic and the Damenchor Choirs. She was a member of the Fort Wayne Maennerchor, Scottish Heritage Society, as well as being a member of Holy Cross Lutheran where she sang in the Holy Cross Senior Choir.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Lisa Cline, husband Bob (Kingston, TN); Laura Englert, husband Mark (Fort Wayne, IN); son, Kurt Heinrich, wife Cheryl (Littleton, CO); stepson, Paul Alexander (Harriman, TN); grandson, Kurt Englert, wife Sarah (Fort Wayne, IN); grandson, Colin Englert, wife Delaney (Whitestown, IN); granddaughter, Lindsay Englert (Markle, IN); grandson, Trenton Cline, wife Cortney (Fort Wayne, IN); grandson Bryce Cline, wife Leslie (Fort Wayne, IN); grandson, Cameron Cline, fiancé Gabrielle (Fort Wayne, IN); granddaughter, Erica Willis, husband Casey (Lexington, KY); granddaughter, Jessica Watson, husband Adam (Northport, AL); granddaughter, Sarah Goodsell, husband Rusty (Brentwood, TN); granddaughter, Elyse Heinrich (Chalfont, PA); granddaughter, Katie O’Connor (Los Angeles, CA); and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucella Baginski; father, William Yent; husband, Eugen Heinrich; granddaughter, Stephanie Alexander; daughter-In-law, Deb Alexander; and God son, Robert Miller.
Visitation will take place Friday, February 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 12:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park. Entombment will immediately follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
