Betty L. Lorenz, 94, of Fort Wayne passed away Monday, December 7, 2015. She was born on February 13, 1921 to the late Adrian and Hermenia (Brown) Schnepp. She was a homemaker. She was a member at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. In the past, she enjoyed playing cards. Surviving family include her son, Jim (Bev) Lorenz; daughter, Judy (Ken) Hambrock; grandsons, Jeff (Kim) Hambrock, Chris (Helen) Hambrock; great grandchildren, Jacob, Houston, Hope, and Cruz; and sisters, Vera Schmidt, Dorothy Rohrbach, and Deloris Ruby. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Harry Lorenz. Funeral service will be 12:30 pm on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 10:30 am. Entombment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse.
