Betty J. Wall

Betty Jean Wall, 97, of Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021. Born on Jan. 23, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Mowry. Betty married James Bodkin Sr., who preceded her in death; then married Kenneth Wall, who also preceded her in death. She retired from Magnavox where she held the position of Foreman. Kenny and Betty enjoyed spending time walking the beaches of Gulf Shores , Ala. Betty leaves to cherish her memory, Barbara (Kenny) Graft of Angola, James (Debby) Bodkin of Brundidge, Ala.,, and Shirley Bodkin of Fort Wayne; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her two children, Sandra Boner and Michael Bodkin; siblings, Eugene Mowry and Donald Mowry, Joann Stephenson, Katherine Bodkin, and Vivian Kessler. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday December 29, 2021 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne IN 46805 with calling 11:30 to 1:30 prior. Calling also from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the funeral home. Graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 1:30 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6600 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
