A graduate of Richmond High School, Bev considered Richmond her hometown all of her life and said growing up as a teen in the fifties "was the best of times". She married Duane Linderman November 20, 1955 and he preceded her in death in 1994. She was a claims adjuster and retired from K&K Insurance in Fort Wayne, IN. Bev was a lifelong learner, loved libraries and bookstores, always having a book in hand or nearby. An encourager of others, she loved people and had many beloved friends throughout her life. A leader in many civic and business related organizations, Bev had an ability to instill her passion and enthusiasm in others. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, travel, music, dancing, and entertaining. Friends and family will remember her as a remarkable person who was passionate about life and its infinite possibilities.
She is survived by her children: Leisa (Douglas) Fletcher, Robert Linderman (Beth Hunter), brother Kem (Mary) Hawkins, sister-in-law Jeanne Hawkins and much loved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a great-granddaughter. All who knew and loved her will forever be blessed by her memory.
A celebration of Beverly's life will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, April 3, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Adams County Library Children's Department. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy for Bev's family may be shared at www.McCombandSons.com
