Beverly Ann Reynolds

Beverly Ann Reynolds, age 81, of Wolcottville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Beverly was born in Elkhart, IN on March 31, 1942, the daughter of John C. and Leona Mae Grossman. She went to school at Jimtown.

She worked at the Bungalow Gardens, Holiday Inn, in Goshen, IN prior to spending thirty two years as a bartender at the Marriott Hotel in Fort Wayne, IN. There she made many many friends from all over the country and world. Everyone she met called her mom, including celebrities. Anyone she met would have a smile on their face after meeting her as her personality was something to behold. She will be sorely missed by all.

Beverly loved to be outside working in her garden and picking up her walnuts. She loved quilting, crocheting and working on puzzles. One of her greatest joys was playing cards with friends and family. You could always count on having a great time full of love, laughter and wisdom. One of her most endearing qualities was her love of the Lord, it was immense and never failing.

Mama created a football pool with the family (just for bragging rights) she so loved staying in contact with all of us on a weekly basis. She said it was a chance to get filled in on what new thigs were going on in our lives and she loved the lively conversation that it created between us. And the picks she wished she would have made.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, John C. & Leona Mae Grossman; brother, John; sister, Barbara; and her eldest son, Douglas (Ox) Norment.

She is survived by her children, Timothy Norment; Dawn Reynolds; Pateresa Joy (Jeff) Smith; William (Terra) Reynolds; her #5 son, Jeff (Robin) Orly; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren with 2 more great-grandchildren due in January and May 2024.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Joshua McEvoy; Cameron Larry; Zachary Reynolds; Elijah Reynolds; Robert Shaw and great-grandson Austin Bowser.

The family of Beverly (Mom & GG) wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses that helped care for her at Parkview Noble & Parkview North.

A visitation for Beverly will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Mungovan, 2114 S. Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ralph Diehl officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in Highland Park Cemetery & Mausoleum, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
