Beverly E. (Taylor) Sheefel, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away on June 18, 2016. Born on November 14, 1938, in Jefferson Township, Whitley County, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Leona (Brandt) Taylor. She graduated from Jefferson Center High School in 1956. Beverly worked for International Harvester for ten years, before leaving to raise her family; she returned to work at the K-Mart warehouse for ten years retiring in 1994. She was a member of The Chapel; and a 50 year member of the Columbia City chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donald Sheefel; sons, Timothy Sheefel, of Munster and Tony (Tracy) Sheefel, of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Mallory, Braylon and Carter Sheefel.
Funeral service will be 10am Friday June 24, at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 5 to 8pm, Thursday June 23, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sand Bank Cemetery, Columbia City. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Chapel or Visiting Nurse of Fort Wayne.
