Obituary of Beverly Ann Waters
Beverly Ann Waters, 72, passed away May 18, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born September 13, 1951, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Carl and Bessie Sharretts. She graduated from Marietta (Ohio) High School in 1969. She met the love of her life, Charles Waters Jr., known to those who loved him as Randy, in Princeton, NJ. After a decade together, they started their family. They raised their two boys, Charlie and Sam in Morrisville, PA and in 1998 moved “out west” to Fort Wayne, IN where the family has remained ever since. Beverly Waters was a remarkable individual whose vibrant personality and zest for life left a lasting mark on everyone she met. Her love for her two sons, Charlie and Sam, was boundless and she took immense pride in their accomplishments. Beverly's world was further brightened by the laughter and love of her grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart. Known for her spunky spirit, Beverly was an avid collector, who had an eye for flamingos and a penchant for color. Her home was a kaleidoscope of hues, each item telling a story of a life well-lived and cherished moments. From the simplest trinket to the most elaborate keepsake, there are countless stories that could be told about Beverly’s unique collections. Beverly's legacy is one of love, and a colorful journey that will continue to amuse those who were fortunate enough to know her. Beverly is survived by her sons, Samuel E. Waters and his wife Cara, Charles T. Waters and his wife Veronica; grandchildren, Jackson and Madison Waters, Brooklyn Disch, and Sierra Rush, all of Fort Wayne, IN. She was preceded in death by Charles Waters Jr., a loving husband of 37 years as well as her twin brother, Thomas Sharretts. Memorial gathering will be from 4-6 pm Wednesday June 12, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN. To sign the online guestbook go to www.mccombandson.com
