Bill Alan Zent, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at his home. Born June 21, 1958, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Eldon M. and Maxine D. (Blake) Zent. He attended Homestead High School and was successfully self-employed. A real go-getter, he worked hard and would always help someone in need. He loved caring for his dogs and cat, and watching NASCAR and the NFL, especially the Chicago Bears. He is survived by his siblings, DonDeena “Donna” Bowersock of Fort Wayne, Steven (June) Zent of Fort Wayne, Suzanna “Sue” (Russ) Chandler of Kimmell, Ind., Peggy (Tim) Doherty of Pflugerville, Texas, and Gary (Chris) Zent of Auburn, Ind.; and ten nieces and nephews.
