Bob Bloemker, 59, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021. He was a son of late Max E. and Rita (Orr) Bloemker.

Bob was a pattern maker until a disability from losing his arm in a work-related accident made his job too difficult. He loved to make people laugh. If you ever met him, you would never forget him! Bob is survived by his brother, Randy Bloemker; and sister, Dawn Linnemeier.

A Memorial Visitation is being held from 4:00 to 7:00pm on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home (1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne). My brother Bob had a big heart for kids and animals. He had a dog Lola that was by his side to the end . He took her in and gave her a loving home.He hated to be considered disabled. He was determined to do everything he did before he lost his arm. He played golf , bowled , fished and worked in his yard. Unfortunately things changed and he gave up to the bottle. He will be deeply missed . Now he can Rest In Peace and no longer suffer!

I remember Bob seemed like he was always into sports. I remember he had some boxing gloves so we tried them out one day in his front yard. Of course he was taking it easy on me. He just laughed and laughed. That distinctive laugh. You could also always catch him playing billiards in his parents garage and even after loosing his arm he would show us how he had perfected his golf swing. Just by seeing his picture I can hear his laugh and see his smile. My condolences to the family.
