Brady Gene McCord, Jr.

He was born on August 19, 2002, to his mother, Emily Strack; and his father, Brady McCord, Sr., at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne.

Brady attended Northrop High School and was very intrigued by all things related to science. His work history included Pizza Hut, Wendy’s, and Amazon. Having both the biggest heart and biggest smile he will truly be missed by all. Living in the hearts he has left behind, he will never die.

He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Jennifer Huffer; his paternal grandmother, Karlena McCord; his mother, Emily Strack; his father, Brady McCord, Sr.; his step-father, Matthew Strack; and his fiancé, Xeanna Huddleston.

He also leaves behind his siblings, Javen Duvall, Calvin McCord, Elliot Strack, and Evelyn Strack; as well as 13 step-siblings; and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Zehyriemey McCord.

A service celebrating Brady's life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6600 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. This will be a public graveside service that all are welcome to join. The family is encouraging everyone to be comfortable and to come as you are.

In lieu of floral arrangements, gifts and donations can be made to the family, c/o Emily Strack, to contribute to funeral expenses.
