BRENDA SUE ALDRIDGE, 63, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at her residence. Born March 29, 1949, in Langdale, Ala., she was a daughter of the late Wilce Else and Mary Lois (Godfrey) Monroe . She worked in assembly at GE/Lockheed Martin/ Bae Systems for 30+ years, retiring in 2007. She was a member of American Legion Post 241. Surviving are her husband, George Aldridge of Fort Wayne; daughter, Tracey (Donald) Lolley of West Pointe, Ala.; daughter, Loretta Brace of Fort Wayne; son, George L. (Linda) Aldridge Jr. of Fort Wayne; daughter, Shelia Jo (Daniel W.) Stoner of Butler; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchild ren; and three sisters. She was also preceded in death by five brothers. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. James Teasdale officiating. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. www.
