Brenda Lee Pion

Brenda Lee Pion, 66, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Born on November 16, 1958, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to parents, Robert “Bob” and JoAnn (Briggs) Knox, Brenda was a much beloved wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. Brenda was a 1977 graduate of Snider High School. She would marry the love of her life, Phil Pion, on July 31, 1987, spending almost 38 years together creating unforgettable memories. Brenda worked for Lincoln Financial for 45 years. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Brenda remembers her for the joy and warmth she brought into every room. Her vibrant spirit was truly contagious, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. She was a shining light who was kind and full of life. In her spare time, Brenda enjoyed crafting. Her creativity knew no bounds. Her projects truly reflected all her dedication, care, and passion in every small detail. Brenda will be truly missed and cherished forever by all her friends and family.

Surviving Brenda are her loving husband, Phil Pion; children, Jeremy Pion and Stephaine (Tyson) May; mother, JoAnn Knox; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, Brian Knox. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Knox and brother, Robert "Douglas" Knox.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Brenda’s memory on August 24, 2025, from 6PM-9PM at the American Legion Post 47 601 Reed Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46815. Memorial contributions may be made out to Stillwater Hospice.
