Brendan Michael Hartman, 21, of Fort Wayne, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at his residence. He was born to Jeffrey and Brenda (Woodward) Hartman on February 11, 2001 in Fort Wayne. He graduated Wayne High School in 2019. Mr. Hartman worked as a manager at Taco Bell. Brendan enjoyed playing drums, tennis and video games; spending time with family; and traveling with his girlfriend. He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Brenda Hartman; sister, Veronica Hartman; maternal grandparents, Susan McKale and Ronald Woodward; girlfriend, Emily Penrod; Cats, Keke, Leo Bear and Bebe Ash; and a rabbit, Rex. Brendan was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert and Patricia Hartman; step-grandpa, Donald McKale; and an uncle, Michael Hartman. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 11 AM at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, 518 East Dewald Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46803. Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804, and one hour before the service on Friday.
