Brian performed over 30 years with Het Balletorkest in Amsterdam (Netherlands). Through his music, he added beauty to our world. Brian will be remembered for his bright personality, cheery laugh, and love for art and travel. Brian was often seen playing his viola while perched in his open window in his beloved Haarlem (Netherlands). He found great joy in the company of his friends and family, especially his close cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles (Chuck); his mother, Gene (Garman); and his brother, Greg.
Brian was born April 11, 1958, in Fort Wayne. He graduated from Wayne High School (’76) and from the Indiana University School of Music (’80).
Memorial gifts may be made to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission or the Gene Marcus Piano Camp and Festival at Purdue Fort Wayne.
A celebration of life will be held at 1pm on June 27, 2026, at the home of Sheri and Drew Dunlavy in Fort Wayne.
