Bruce Wayne Gensel

Born on June 26, 1964 in Fort Wayne, Indiana he was the beloved son of Albert and Joyce (Medsker) Gensel. He served in the Army and Marines as an automotive mechanic. He completed his Bachelors of Art in Business Administration and over the years worked in a variety of positions. In addition, he enjoyed spending time volunteering at Fox Island County Park and the Stanley School-District No. 2 located inside Chain O’Lakes State Park.

Bruce will be remembered for his love of all things history related. He especially enjoyed historical research and genealogy as well watching Komet hockey. Most important to him was time spent with family.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Joyce Gensel.

Bruce is survived by his daughter, Sarah Gensel and his step children Amanda and Tyler; his sister Gloria (Gensel) Story and his brother-in-law, Charles Story, as well as niece Lauren (Story) Monk and nephew Evan Story.

Celebration of Life will be graveside, at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Date and time to be announced.

Bruce will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
