Obituary of Bruce L. Richman
Bruce L. Richman, 61, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at his home surrounded by family in Churubusco, Indiana. He was born January 11, 1961 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Erv and Doris Richman of Wolcottville, Indiana. Bruce graduated from Heritage High School in 1979. He was an IT Manager at Harris Corporation for 28 years. Bruce was known for his humor and loved to make dad jokes. Many people considered him a person they could talk to and cofide in. He found enjoyment in the simple things in life. He loved camping, watching the sunrise while drinking coffee, and telling stories around the campfire with a cold beer in hand. He was always helping others, many times without being asked. He passionately followed the weather on the news and could often be found drinking a beer while watching a storm roll across the sky. Bruce’s many hobbies included bowling with the Rude Dawgs, listening to classic country music, mowing the lawn, having a beer with friends at his favorite bar (4D’s), golfing, and fishing. His legacy is the morals and lessons he bestowed upon his children and family, namely: generosity, honesty, faithfulness, and caring for others. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Leticia “Tish” Richman of Churubusco, IN; mother, Doris Richman of Wolcottville; son, Bill (Amanda) Richman of New Haven, IN; daughters, Rachel (Derek) Menkedick of Dayton, OH, Becca (Myles) Lange of Gregory, MI; grandchildren, Arlee, Cora, Annie, Daniel, Abel, and Baby M. (due in January). He is also survived by his brothers, Kirk (Renee) Richman of Hudson, IN, Doug (Jennifer) Richman of Murphy, NC, and Bob (Debbie) Richman of Mishawaka, IN. Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Erv; his brother, Steve Richman; and his grandchild, Baby Charlie. Bruce loved his family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. ***SERVICE UPDATE*** There will be prayer service at 9am on Friday, August 19, 2022, at D.O.
