He was born on August 09, 1961, to James Richard and Patricia June Stahl, Bruce grew up in southwest Fort Wayne. His childhood was filled with wonderful and wild adventures with his siblings and friends who roamed the neighborhoods on their bikes and played from the morning until sunset. He attended Homestead High School and worked for Roger’s Supermarket where he met and made lifelong friendships. After graduation, Bruce received his degree in electronics from IIT of Fort Wayne, married his first
wife Nancy Trevino, his high school sweetheart and embarked on his first career by moving to Dallas, Texas where he worked for Texas Instruments.
In 1995, Bruce married Kimberly York(Long), and they lived in Fort Wayne with their blended family until present day. During this time Bruce began his second career with the Fort Wayne Fire
Department which he retired from after twenty plus years.
Bruce’s greatest joy was his family and friends. His many nieces and nephews considered him a mentor and father figure. In his neighborhood, Bruce was considered the “pied piper” of his
cul-de-sac, as all the children were drawn to him for advice and help with their various projects.
