Bruno Vasquez Rodriguez, age 76, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 in Indianapolis, Ind. He was born in Puerto Rico to the late Brunaldo Vasquez and Maria Rodriguez. Bruno attended Skinner Middle School, graduated from Tuley High School and earned degrees in Accounting and Culinary Arts. He spent twenty years in the Merchant Marines where his passion and gift for cooking was shared, especially his native Puerto Rican dishes, and painting. He is survived by his sons, Jason Vasquez of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Jonathon (Tiffany) Vasquez of Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren, Izik, Izeah, Iza'Reya, Izenya; great-grandchildren, Lilly and Aiden; sisters, Miriam Hernandez, Marlinda Adams, and Sandra Cruz all of Chicago, Ill. Funeral Service is 1:00 pm on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Highland Park, 2403 E. Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior.
