A proud graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School, Class of 1995, Bryan was an exceptional athlete and an All-American in both football and baseball. His athleticism and leadership on the field were matched by his humility and kindness off of it. He went on to attend Indiana University, where he continued his football career and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management.
While at Dwenger, Bryan met Tracey (Thomas) Bobay. They were married on July 12, 1997. Bryan absolutely adored Tracey—she was the light of his life.
Bryan was the proud and loving father of two sons, Tommy (Leah) Bobay and Jake Bobay. He cherished every moment with his beloved grandchildren, Maizie and Deacon Bobay, and was never without a smile when talking about them.
Since 2006, Bryan worked as a project manager with the Jack Laurie Group, where his diligence and integrity left a lasting impression. He enjoyed golfing with friends, cheering on Indiana University football, and most of all, spending quality time with his family. Bryan lived a life of strong faith, and that faith carried him through both joyful moments and life’s greatest challenges.
Bryan is survived by his devoted wife, Tracey Bobay; his parents, Edward and Ann Bobay; his sons, Tommy (Leah) Bobay and Jake Bobay; and his grandchildren, Maizie and Deacon Bobay. He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers, Nick (Lori) Bobay, Tim (Tonya) Bobay, and Chris Bobay; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Bobay; his grandparents; and other cherished family members who welcomed him home with open arms.
