Caesyn Lee Rutland Thomas

Caesyn was a wildly courageous little boy, who fought valiantly against a rare terminal genetic condition called Aicardi-Goutieres Syndrome.

Caesyn loved many things including; a thomas train ride on toy, fidget spinners, gears, firetrucks, helicopters, monster trucks, motorcycles, construction vehicles and basically anything with wheels.

He loved to watch; Leo the Truck, marble runs, dominoes, Chuggington, Blippi, fans, fidget spinner collections, gear videos, and One Piece.

Caesyn and his dad enjoyed listening to upbeat dubstep music together.

He loved to do flips, swing and hang upside down. He enjoyed running, wrestling around and bouncing. He loved bubbles and fancy lights.

Caesyn loved to eat chicken noodle soup like a dog with his head in the bowl.

Caesyn is survived by his dad, Jared Thomas of Fort Wayne, IN; mom, Breanna Lowe (Dallas Sims) of Butler, IN; and siblings, Talia (Grace), Mahtao, Atlas and Paxtyn.

He is also survived by his grandparents, David and Amy Bentz of Fort Wayne, IN; Catherine Maley of Crossville, TN; Tim Suter of Fort Wayne, IN; and Missy and Jim Sims of Fort Wayne, IN.

Great-grandparents, David and Evelyn Braun of Fort Wayne, IN; Pat and Cindy Maley of Crossville, TN and Steve and Sandy Bentz of Grand Rapids, MI.

Caesyn is survived by his beloved in-home nurse Tabitha (Josh) Newman of Garrett, IN.

He was preceded in death by Great Grandparents Wayne and Verna Zink of Woodburn, IN; Grandfather Jerry Lowe of Kokomo, IN; Cousin Carson Doolittle of Huntertown, IN;

Celebration of life will be 1:00 pm on Saturday September 12, 2026, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation two hours prior.
