Cardelia Saylor

Cardelia Saylor, 88, of Fort Wayne, went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. She was born to the late Rant and Tish Saylor in Kettle Island, Kentucky, on January 26, 1930. Cardelia was a devout Christian. She loved gardening, puzzles, and reading her Bible. Cardelia is survived by her children, Jean (Jeff) Carboni-Parker, Jim (Cynthia) Pequignot-North, and Lynn (David) Hughes-Bell; 22 grandkids; and 28 great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Phelps and 14 siblings. Funeral service will be Monday, December 24, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home (1327 N. Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be Sunday, December 23, 2018, at the funeral home from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
