Carlie Grace Parker, 22, of Leo, IN, passed away Thursday June 22, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born March 14, 2001 in Fort Wayne, IN. Carlie (Princess Carlie) was truly one of a kind. Anyone that knew her was better for it. She was the strongest, bravest, kindest, and most loving soul, with a personality that was larger than life. Even though she endured so much pain and suffering, she was always more concerned with everyone else's wellbeing. Carlie faced each challenge with a positive attitude and a smile. She refused to let her disabilities define her. She was a fighter until the very end, always giving her all. Carlie loved anything and everything pink as well as glittery. She enjoyed listening to music, coloring, collecting fun trinkets (especially phone cases, pop sockets, and anything miniature), shopping on Amazon, and spending time with her family. She was an incredible artist, with sketchbooks full of beautiful drawings. Carlie adored her niece and nephews; playing with them any chance she got. Social media was the gateway that connected her to the rest of the world and allowed her to stay in touch with her friends. No amount of time would've ever been enough with Carlie Grace. To say she will be missed doesn't even come close to expressing the emptiness her loved ones feel without her here. Carlie was an Angel borrowed from heaven and now she's gone home.
Carlie is survived by her parents, Scott and Lisa Parker of Leo, IN; siblings, Courtney (Camerin) Belknap of Fort Wayne, IN; Cassidy Parker of Leo, IN; Caragan (Isaiah) Moore of Fort Wayne, IN; Cadyn Parker of Leo, IN; maternal grandmother, Stephanie (Robert) Hemsoth of New Haven, IN; maternal grandfather Robert and Mary Parrish of OR; paternal grandparents, Donald and Sandy Parker of New Haven, IN; niece Leina Moore; nephews Harrison Moore, Hollen Moore, Parker Belknap all of Fort Wayne, IN; several aunts and uncles; and her beloved cat, Alaya.
