Carol Arlene Alexander

Carol shared 62 loving years of marriage with her devoted husband, Jerry Alexander. Throughout their life together, they built a lifetime of cherished memories, sharing their love of family, animals, watching politics and dancing. Carol was a devoted family woman who treasured the time she spent with her husband and loved ones. Over the years, she also cared for many beloved pets, each holding a special place in her heart.

Carol dedicated nearly five decades of her working life to McCray Memorial Hospital, continuing her service through its transition to Parkview Noble Hospital. Her many years of dedication reflected her commitment and the important role she played in serving her community. She also enjoyed her role as the Vice President of the Cobblestone Association for nearly half a decade.

Outside of work, Carol and Jerry enjoyed teaching line dancing together for many years. Their shared passion for dancing brought joy to others and created lasting memories. Whether spending time with family, caring for her pets, or sharing the dance floor with others, Carol found happiness in the simple things that made life meaningful.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jerry Alexander; her sister, Linda Smith; and her nieces, Kathy Troyer, Michelle Smith, Christine McElhoe, Lori Preston, Rhonda Herendeen, and Christine Conrad; along with her nephews, Scott Herendeen, Keith Smith, Brett Herendeen, and Brad Herendeen.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie Herendeen, Larry Herendeen, and Alvin Herendeen; and her sister, Lorna Lopshire.

No services will be held at this time.

Carol will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her love for her husband and animals, and the many years she spent serving her community. The memories she created with those she loved, along with the joy she shared through dancing, will remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and treasured memories that will live on for generations to come.
