Carol J. Danford, 73, passed away on March 29, 2026. She was born on April 19, 1952, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter of the late William and Ione (Tracht) Danford. Carol enjoyed reading, doing crafts, playing the organ, boat rides and an occasional O’Doul’s beer. She was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church for several years. Carol is survived by her brothers, Thomas (Deb) and William (Elvia) Danford; along with several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6600 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804, where she will be laid to rest next to her parents. The family would like to say a very special Thank You to all of Carol's caregivers over the years. Memorial contributions may be made to the Steuben County Humane Society.
