Carol Ann Farney, age 78, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. She was born September 24, 1946 in Logansport, Indiana to the late Wayne and Gayle (née Priewe) Toler. Carol graduated from Logansport High School, Class of '64, and would marry her high school sweetheart, Dean Farney, the same year.
During her lifetime, Carol would model for Helen Faye Modeling Club, taught charm classes at International Business College, worked for Estée Lauder cosmetics, and served as a hostess for Don Hall's Guest House before opening Simple Pleasures in Grabill, Indiana; in her later years, she hand crafted journals but truly cherished her time as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother the most.
Surviving are her children, Roger (Nola) Farney, and Stacy (John) Rodenbeck ; three grandchildren, Samuel Farney, Katelynn (Amador) Debacher, and Trevor Rodenbeck; and two great-grandchildren, Isaiah Debacher and Isla Debacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Farney.
Funeral Service is 11 AM, Friday, April 25, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E Dupont Rd with calling one hour prior. Private Interment at Ever Rest Memorial Park Cemetery, Logansport, Indiana.
