Carol "Smitty" A. Smith

Carol A. “Smitty” Smith, 75, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Ray E. Speaker and Vivian M. (Andersen) Kilkelly. Carol married Judy Lahrman on June 27, 2014, and she survives. Carol was a member of Brookside Community Church, Fort Wayne Umpires Association, and Fort Wayne Women's Softball Association. Also surviving are her sons, Michael Smith, Keith Lahrman, Craig Lahrman, and Kurt Lahrman; daughter, Kim De Leon; 15 grandchildren; and siblings, Sandy Yokeley, Judy Jones, Jamie Faticone, and Colleen Davis. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her grandson, Daniel Smith. Memorial visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm, Friday, August 14, 2020 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home (1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne). Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
