Carol Ann Thomas, 89, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on September 27, 2026. Born January 10, 1937, in Findlay, Ohio, Carol was the daughter of the late Homer & Donna Beck.
Carol pursued her education with diligence, earning an associate degree from International Business College of Fort Wayne. She went on to work for several years at General Electric, where her steady work ethic and dependable spirit were evident in all she did.
A woman of faith and quiet devotion, Carol was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and also attended Taylor Chapel Ministries, Inc. Her days were often enriched by simple, meaningful joys—she enjoyed reading and was an avid gardener, tending both books and blooms with the same patient care and generosity of heart.
Carol was preceded in death by her son, Arthur Thomas, and by her sister, Joan Hauman of Findlay, Ohio.
Those who will cherish many precious memories include her sister, Karen Aiken; granddaughter, Breean Thomas; great-grandson, Callum Bebout; and her beloved companion, James "Jim" Jackson; two nieces, Deborah Horn and Stacey Grieb, as well as other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of her life and visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2026, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park - 4017 Maplecrest Rd. (46815). She will be laid to rest in Highland Park Cemetery.
