Carol Ann Williams

Carol Ann Williams, 79, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023, in Fort Wayne, Ind. She was born on Nov. 24, 1943. Carol graduated from Albion High School and went on to receive her AAS in 1986 from IVY Tech and her BS in 1996 from Indiana Institute of Technology. She worked for the Indiana Welfare Department and retired from the Indiana Department of Revenue. Carol had a passion for traveling, cleaning and rose gardening. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. "We offer the utmost gratitude for her niece, Barbara Jo Nudd and caregiver Chris Sheets for coordinating her ability to stay at home during her struggle with Parkinsons. Special thanks also to Julie, Emma and the nurses with Parkview Hospice." Carol is survived by her son, Greg (Jennifer) Poe, along with grandchildren, Vincent and Lela. She is also survived by her brothers, Terry and Gary Edsall; and sister, Gloria Grimm. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Williams; and her siblings, Betty Jo Beckberger, Bud, Roger and Ben Edsall. There will be no services held at this time. Contributions in Carol's memory may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
