Carole Jeanne Young Crudo, 92, passed away May 16, 2024 at her home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born January 1, 1932, in New Haven, CT, the daughter of Madeline Sayers Young and Arthur Archie Young. Carole was a longtime resident of New Haven, CT and moved to Fort Wayne in 1996. Her memberships included, Catholic Charismatic Renewal 1972, former President of First Friday Crusade of St. John Evangelist of New Haven, CT, and a member of Hope Church of Fort Wayne, IN.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Livingston, Deborah (J. Philip) Plourde, Shelley (Jonathan) Olson, Ellen (Duane) Kastner, 9 beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Cynthia, Jonathan, Nicholas, Anthony, Danielle, Crissy, Delia, Jamie, and 19 beloved great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:30 am Saturday June 1, 2024, at Hope Church 5927 E. State Blvd. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4-8 pm Friday May 31, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Rd. Fort Wayne, IN. Burial at Concordia Gardens Cemetery.
