She was the daughter of the late George Newton and the late Marie (Chasse, (Newton), (Arena).
After graduating from Framingham South high school, Carolyn worked for many years in electronics as an Assembler for several companies. Upon moving to Tennessee, she worked at Perdue chicken.
Upon retirement they moved to Arizona, living there for fifteen years before moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2021.
She leaves her husband of fifty-six years, James Piccirillo, son's Jason and Joshua, and grandsons Nicholas and Alex Piccirillo. She also leaves brothers George Newton, Donald Newton (Joanne), Michael Hewins (Joanne), sister Mary Hewins and brother Steven (Debbie) as well as six stepbrothers and stepsisters. Services will be private.
