Carolyn "Sue" Schroeder

Carolyn “Sue” Schroeder, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020. Born on March 8, 1951, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Mickey and Diane (France) Spillers.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Schroeder, of Fort Wayne; son, Gerald (Cierra) Schroeder, of Fort Wayne; step-daughter, Melissa Stewart; grandchildren, Frankie (Nichole) Schroeder Sr, Twylla Helvie, Kaylee (Larry McCleese) Helvie, and Eeliza Schroeder; great-grandchildren, Twylla Rose Schroeder, Frankie Schroeder Jr, Nevaeh Harris, Joseph Harris, Larry McCleese, and Addison McCleese; siblings, David (Linda) Spillers, Mike Spillers, Judy (Steve) Allen, and Rosemary Wylie; and sister-in-law, Yvonne Spillers. She was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Leo Bearss; and brothers, Carl Spillers, and John Spillers.

Funeral service will be 1:30 pm, Thursday, October 15, 2020, at C.M. Sloan and Sons (1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne), with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.

Memorial donations may be given to the family c/o Peggy Schroeder.

12 years ago me and Frankie Sr brought our beautiful daughter Twylla Rose home from the hospital Carolyn (Grandma) couldn't put her down and couldn't sleep with out her from there on they have been sidekicks. Grandma was and still is a huge part of our hearts she worked hard to keep everyone together and her best moments was with her grandkids they kept her going. I miss our talks and our talks on the front porch. Even tho we aren't blood she was the grandma i never really had. we love u grandma so much fly high and save me a spot on ur porch for when we meet again RIP beautiful
