Carolyn enjoyed the outdoors, music, volunteering, and most of all spending time with family. Carolyn also enjoyed a very successful career as a Realtor and Broker with Caldwell Banker Realtors. In the past few years, she has spent countless hours volunteering at the Fort Wayne Community Center, the Embassy Theatre, the Foellinger Theatre, and numerous festivals in the Fort Wayne area.
She is survived by her daughter, Aimee (Carlie) Tuttle of Kendallville; two grandsons, Samuel and Daniel Tuttle; her brother, David Newnam; and sister, Sue Newnam. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Stemen.
A funeral service to honor Carolyn's life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 26, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 12pm, until time of service. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
