Caryl L. Ball, 65, died peacefully at home Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015. Born in Marion, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late William and Betty Armstrong. A graduate of Ball State University and Indiana University, she retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools after serving over forty years as a dedicated teacher, mentor, and coach.
Surviving are her husband Steve; children Jill (Ryan) Garst, Meredith (BJ Hollars) Ball, and Michael Ball; grandchildren Addison Garst, Henry and Eleanor Hollars; sister Cathy (Mike) Henderson and brother William Morton (Debi) Armstrong.
She was preceded in death by her brother Andrew Armstrong.
Services will be 10 am Thursday Feb. 19, 2015 at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home 6424 Winchester Rd. Visitation will be 4-8 Wednesday Feb. 18, 2015.
Preferred memorials to Northeast Indiana Cancer Services or Visiting Nurse Hospice.
