

Charles “Tony” Anthony Hill Sr., 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on February 21, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born May 23, 1941 in Birchwood, Tenn., he was a son of the late Charles Ogle and Mary Violet (Helton) Hill.
He was the owner of Hill Excavating while simultaneously working at International Harvester, from which he retired. He started 10 Kwik Minutes Oil Change in Kendallville and later owned Kwik Lube Oil Change and Hill Auto Repair on Lima Road in Fort Wayne, for over 15 years. A self-taught jack-of-all-trades, there seemed to be nothing he could not accomplish. An avid John Wayne fan, he enjoyed watching Westerns and staying physically active.
He is survived by his wife, Purwanti Hill of Fort Wayne; sons, Charles “Tony” Anthony (Kelly) Hill Jr., Jonathan Wayne Hill, and William Henry Hill, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Matthew and Haley; sister, Alice Wright of Donalsonville, GA; and brother, Michael Edward Hill of Dothan, AL. He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Flo Hill; grandson, William Joseph Hill; brother, James Allen Hill; and brother-in-law, Lawrence Wright.
Funeral Service will be at 1:00pm on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., with visitation two hours prior. Pastor Tim Fisher officiating.
