Charlotte Coleda Bishop

Charlotte Coleda Bishop, 83, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Hospice Home. She was born October 8, 1927 to the late Carl Walter and Vergie (Privitt) Cornett in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Bishop was a homemaker. Surviving are her children, Sandy Baker of Fort Wayne; Charlotte (Bruce) Knuckles of Fort Wayne; Donna (Richard) White of Henager, AL; Clay W. (Linda) Bishop of Ossian; Jack F. (Pam) Bishop, Jr. of Yoder; Mary Joyce Hardy of New Haven; brothers, Robert Cornett of Fort Wayne; Olin Cornett of Flat Rock, AL; sisters, Frances Lawson of Flat Rock, AL; Carlene Wooten of Rising Fawn, GA; Sandra Cornett of Flat Rock, AL; eighteen grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, Jack F. Bishop, Sr.; daughter, Lois Martin; sons, Darren and Faron Bishop; brothers, Carl Walter Cornett, Dallas Wayne Cornett, and Hugh Cornett; sisters, Betty Lynn Holley and Billy Dove Cornett. Services are Monday, December 27, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with calling two hours prior. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
