I was Charlotte's letter carrier from August of 2012 until May of this year.  I enjoyed my encounters with her.  The sparkle in her eyes belied her years, and I will miss her.

   Charlotte was our neighbor and friend from 1959-1973. We thought her gracious and kind. My deepest sympathy.

I am very grateful that Charlotte provided a place for me to stay when I first came to Fort Wayne in 1985 to teach at Trinity Lutheran. She was very much like a mother to me rather than a landlord. Thanks for welcoming me in and giving me a good start in Fort Wayne.  God Bless You and your family.
