Charlotte Jean Woods, 86, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away November 20, 2025. She was born with her twin brother, the late Charles Andrew Woods, to the late Florence R. Woods, on February 26, 1939. Charlotte was born in the home of her great-grandfather on Dalman Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is the street that her family has lived on for over 100 years. Charlotte is a member of the Nathaniel Blanks family. She attended Fort Wayne Community Schools. Charlotte worked as a childcare provider for many years. She grew up in the Mount Olive (Union) Baptist Church and later the old Eliza Street (New Life) Church of God. Charlotte is survived by her son, Michael K. Woods; grandchildren, De Andre Woods, Money Woods, and MyKemma Woods; great grandchildren, Layton, MyLeayah, and Emorie; cousins, Elaine Edwards - Pruitt, and Dr. Miles S. Edwards; great cousins, Tracye, and Tomohn; and many family members and friends.
