Cheryl Ann Bohlender, 63, of Fort Wayne passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011. She was born on March 23, 1948 in Ft. Wayne. She worked as a RN in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Lutheran Hospital. She enjoyed caring and working with her patients, gardening, caring for animals, and especially her grandchildren. Surviving family include her daughter, Denise Rider of Ft. Wayne; son, Robert Bohlender II of Auburn; mother, Vivian Becker; brothers, Chris Hees, Gary Becker both of Ft. Wayne, grandsons, Zachery, Taylor, and Carter also of Ft. Wayne. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Becker and brother Charles Hees.
A memorial service will take place at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Ft. Wayne. Visitation hours will be from 1-4 and 5-7 on Tuesday.
