Cheryl Ann Coleman, 60, of Fort Wayne passed away Monday, June 6, 2016. She was born on June 12, 1955. She was a life time member and past auxiliary president at VFW 1421 and also belonged to Amvets Post 33. Surviving family include her daughters, Tina (Mark) France, Tricia (Dean) Wimmer Stevens, April (Jeremy) Lee; brothers, Harold “Sparky” and Larry (Carol) Hurst; sister, Foxy (Greg) Rice; 11 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Jerry and Clara Beemer; husband, Phillip “Pooh Bear” Coleman; and granddaughter, Amber France. Funeral service is 6:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with viewing beginning at 3:00 pm. Burial will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to VFW 1421 or Visiting Nurse.
