Cletus F. Hart

Cletus F. Hart, 91 of Ft. Wayne, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011. He was born on March 14, 1920 to the late John E. and Anna G. (Armand) Hart. Mr. Hart retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools in 1982 and from Kingston Retirement Center after 10 years. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3846, a member of American Legion #157 and a WWII Army Veteran. He is survived by his daughters, Connie (Robert) Pickell of Ft. Wayne, Phyllis J. (William) Fritz of Columbia City, Beverly J. Dennis of Ft. Wayne and Bernice Hart of Ft. Wayne; grandchildren, Jeffrey P. Scare, Shelley L. Pucher, Tomeka L. Bennett, and Paul A. Martin; great grandchildren, Ashley, Shaley, Breanna, Brandon, Danasha, Dayln, Dayton, Camron, Jayden, and Paul Jr.; great great granddaughter Amerie; step grandchildren, Terry, Ronald and Scott Fritz; step great grandchildren, Regan, Lee Ann, Stefan, Joshua and Joseph; step great great grandchildren, Isabell, Gavin and Braylon, and his companion Patricia Keefe. He was also preceded in death by his wife, M. Laverne Hart and one grandchild, Tyrone Hart. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Ft. Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials can be made to VFW 3846 – Churubusco.
