Clyde Glenn Sorrell

Clyde Glenn Sorrell, 66, passed away on December 24, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital.

Clyde worked at T.D.M. in New Haven for 32 years. His hobbies included watching racing, reality-TV game shows, and he spent time as a floor guard at Bell's Skating Rink.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; daughters, Jennifer (John) Rodriguez Bixler, Kathy (John, Jr.) Adams; son, Steven Sorrell; two grandsons; two granddaughters; one god grandson; two great-granddaughters; brother, Calvin Sorrell; sisters, Charleen Spillers, and Christel Zent. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Frances Sorrell; brothers, Clifton Sorrell, and Carl Sorrell.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at C.M. Sloan and Sons (1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne), with visitation from 11:30 AM until time of service. To express online condolences, please visit

All my childhood memories are 90% with uncle Glenn and Kathy and Jennifer until his grandkids came along we went skating nearly every weekend when it wasn't racing season we went to the races spent many weeks with uncle Glenn, aunt Alice, Kathy ,Jennifer even John then, Steven ,Christopher, Jazzmin and Nalyla If we wasn't at aunt Alces house they was with us the younger four of the group I named off I love all y'all so much my heart hurts to know y'all and everyone left behind only can live on with memories its never easy no matter what anyone says its not we jus have to keep the memories alive
