Connie L. Caldwell

Connie L. Caldwell, 67, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Stillwater Hospice Home. Connie was born January 26, 1956 in Fort Wayne, daughter to the late Bennie B. and Grace I. (Freeman) Shepherd. She attended South Side High School and had worked at Walmart for close to 25 years. Surviving family includes children, Nicole (Robert Washington) Gibson and Claude "Allen" Caldwell, Jr.; grandchildren, Benjamin Parks, Jr., Aubrey Washington, Jacoby Caldwell, and Breslin Caldwell; sister, Marlene (Al) Craib; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Jerry; brothers, Bennie B. Shepherd and Harold K. Shepherd; and sister, Linda Shepherd. There will be a celebration of life gathering on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809.
