Craig Anthony Shaw

Craig Anthony Shaw, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at his home. Born on January 8, 1953, in Oglesby, Ill., he was a son of the late George and MaryAnn (Angelo) Shaw. Craig was a painter in auto body restoration and owned Craig Shaw Auto Body for over 50 years. He enjoyed all music and was extremely talented at playing the blues with his harmonica. He loved fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, cooking, documentaries about Bigfoot, car shows and swap meets. Mostly, he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends; he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his partner of over 50 years, Janet Beckman of Fort Wayne; son, Anthony (Stacy) Beckman of Fort Wayne; daughters, Christine (John) Blackman and Carrie Beckman, both of Fort Wayne; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many siblings; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Shaw. Funeral Service will be at 3:00pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Tim Fisher officiating.
