

Dale LaMar Arnold, 89, of New Haven, Indiana passed on September 8, 2026, at home surrounded by family at his side. He was born on June 17, 1937, in New Haven, Indiana, to Bryant Edward Arnold and Leota May Koehlinger Arnold.
Dale was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He married the love of his life, Dorothy Ann Arend, on August 22, 1959, and they shared a beautiful life and many cherished memories in their 67 years of marriage. Dorothy survives him, along with their children: Mark (Suzie) Arnold, daughters Beth (Stephen) Ehinger, Kathy Arnold, Betty (Brent) McCutcheon and Darlene (Tim) Crumley. He was a proud grandfather to Joshua, Bryant (Arielle), Chloe Arnold, and Felicia (Andy) Goodwin and a beloved great-grandfather to Xavier, Emmett, Charlie and Oliver Arnold. His family was his greatest pride and joy, the memories they made together will be treasured forever.
Dale was a hardworking man who spent his life providing and caring for his family. Over the years, he owned and operated several taverns and carry-outs, including the Hi-Lite, Six Mile, Dale's Party Liquors, and Bottle and Keg. He also owned a laundry mat, and worked as a custodian for New Haven High School.
Dale was a member of The American Legion #420, Monroeville, Indiana and the Navy Club Ship #245 New Haven.
Dale is a member of Saint John's the Baptist Catholic Church of New Haven, Indiana.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the New Haven Conservation Club on October 10, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
