Dale R Foltz

Dale R. Foltz, 79, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on December 11, 2018, at St. Anne's Home and Retirement Community. Mr. Foltz was born on March 19, 1939, in Fort Wayne, to the late Charles R. and Lucille A. (Branning) Foltz. Dale was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Foltz. Dale worked at the Fort Wayne Airport Restaurant and Clems Café. A man of few words, Dale expressed how much he cared for people by his actions. He volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital for 18 years. One of Dales hobbies was collecting and listening to music of the forties, fifties, sixties, and seventies. He enjoyed entertaining the residents of Villa of the Woods and Saint Anne by hosting music hour on Sunday where he would play his albums for the residents. Though Dale did not have any living family, he considered the residents and staff of Villa of the Woods and Saint Anne his family. Memorial service will be held on January 3 at 1:30 pm at Saint Anne’s Chapel. Memorial donations may be directed to Bishop Luers High School Sodalitas Club or Catholic Charities.
