Damon Robert Lambert

Damon Robert Lambert, 43, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at his home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born April 25, 1979 in Columbia City, Indiana, the son of the late Dixon Townsend and Mary Boggs Lambert, who survives. Damon attended Homestead High School. He worked at Chops restaurant for several years. Damon enjoyed taking long walks, playing basketball when he was younger, watching sports on TV, especially the NFL. He also enjoyed music and was an avid sports video game player. Damon is survived by his mother, Mary Boggs (Keith Rocke) Lambert of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Megan Lambert of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Collin (McKenzie Leffel) Lambert of Fort Wayne, IN; and extended family, Ben Rocke of Fort Wayne, IN, and Hilary List of TN. Damon was preceded in death by his father, Dixon Townsend Lambert, in 1989. A funeral service to honor Damon's life and legacy will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor David Mitchell will be officiating.
