Dana Kay Trendle, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Majestic Care - Jefferson Pointe. Born January 15, 1947 in Peru, IN, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Betty (Miller) Berger. A graduate of North Side High School, class of 1965, she was employed with Kohl’s for over 25 years, from which she retired. Dana was also a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and primitive camping with her husband, George Trendle Jr., who preceded her in death on June 19, 2016. A strong-willed lady, she was mostly fond of time spent with her family and grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Kim (Jim Arntz) Lowe of Fort Wayne, Lonnie Capps of Fort Wayne, Chris Capps, and Jeremy (Danielle) Trendle of North Myrtle Beach, SC; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Sandy (Jim) Lindlag of Fort Wayne; and first husband, Ray Capps of Fort Wayne. Funeral Service is noon on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Advantage-Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Jonathan Reish officiating. Masks Required.
